Untimely Sound: Global-Gypo-Ragga-Ghetto-Disko!
Untimely Sound consists of myself, andykisaragi, plus a selection of collaborators, including, at different times, Bob Hotskin, the Elbow Selector, robbiefelixawesome and others. Untimely Sound brings you a raucous mashup of global-folk-party-breaks, bringing together traditional sounds, pop tunes, hip hop vocals, heavy basslines and anything else which seems appropriate at the time.
I have rocked the party at all kinds of venues, from house parties to bars, clubs, festivals, warehouses and outdoor parties. I've appeared at Glastonbury, Shambala and Bristol Festival, had regular slots at Backbeating (Aberystwyth), Fiesta (Bristol) and BalkanXpress (Bristol), and supported UK balkan music heavyweights such as Paprika Balkanicus and Alejandro Toledo.
