Here's a gem of a free album I came across a little while ago, then forgot about until it just randomly popped into my ear... regular readers, if I have any, will know that anything that triggers a computer game related memory for me is a winner. Well the first track on here, Unspeakable, with its disembodied mellotron choirs and a there's-probably-something-ungodly-just-around-the-next-corner vibe took me way back to a completely forgotten about game, Space Hulk (based on the Games Workshop game), which was kinda like turn based Doom and well scary.
This album, too, is well scary - dubstep, but you can't really imagine stepping to most of it, it's so atmospheric and sinister that it takes you to a dark place usually only accessible via a large amount of dissociatives...
Grab this one (128): Ekaros - Köd
