I have an idea and wondered if you would like to be involved. Im making a new music video and the idea is to have different pictures with one of or a couple of the lyrics written out whatever way you want. like written on a board and held up or the condensation on a window or whatever imaginative idea you can come up with. Take a picture and send it to me and i'll put it in the video. Im trying to get as many people from all over the world to do it. The song is called "Young Mothers, Sisters, Brothers" its on my myspace page and the lyrics are in my blog. I've got a new hero: Muthoni The Drummer Queen! How totally awesome is this tune???

Don't know why I'm asking you cos the answer is plainly 'totally freakin awesome'. The relentless vocal hooks! That beat! Those clipped trumpet stabs at the end! Man this is one of the most exciting hip hop based things I've heard in ages. I'm loving her vocal style, beat perfect machine gunning the chorus hook, slipping between singing and straight rhyming perfectly in the verses.

so, I totally didn't come good on my promise to post lots of exciting stuff whilst at my mums: instead i drank booze and ate food. was going to do a _____ of the decade style post but seems a bit late now...? maybe i'll get round to it at the end of this year since some people seem to think the decade goes from 01-10 (and actually go on the radio to have heated arguments about it! guys! NOTHING COULD BE LESS INTERESTING)
