Ads are always some of the best things on TV, I guess because what TV companies actually sell is viewers to advertisers - so the ads are the real content, while the shows exist in order to keep eyes on the screen for those all important three minutes.

One of the best things on TV right now has to be the Cadbury's ad with the crazy chocoloate face, awesome dancing and the dude performing on the rooftop. It's promoting the fact that Dairy Milk is made from Fairtrade Ghanaian cocoa - now I'm no capitalist but for me this is a triumph of market forces - consumer demand doing infinitely more to change the world than standing around being miserable with placards...! Like the Shoe Event Horizon, any change that comes about this way was mostly going to happen anyway. In the meantime, you might as well enjoy yourself
