Boogat drops some hot latin sounds out of Montreal. Cumbia, reggaeton, dancehall and baile funk combine to form the beats here, produced by Poirier, Nom de Plume and Boogat himself. Montrealesa manages to infuse a hot cumbia-hop beat with the frozen landscape of the track's title - there's something cold about those off beat chords. This, along with Dos Cervesas - built on a minimal cumbiaton beat with a cool poppy hook ('dos cervesas por favor!') - are the two must-have tunes from the EP.
El Hueso combines the rough, simple style of Baile Funk with super clean electro sonics & Hey closes the EP in an extremely mellow manner which shows a lot of promise for Boogat's first full length album, coming next year sometime - but in the context of this EP it doesn't quite fit for me. Another banger please!

Absolutley loving this minimal-cumbia-house shuffle out of Chile:
Pata e' Cumbiaa!!! by pegateenlosdedos
And this Moombiah joint takes a little while to reveal it's secrets but when it hits the Den5hion-esque bassline it BANGS

Wicked little moombah mix from Badre (aka B.On, apparently). What's that epic opening track? OH SNAP! IT'S ME!

Den5hion, aka Marco Polo Gutierrez from Mexico is making some of the most successful marriages of cumbia with dubstep wobble & filthy sensibility out there, check these out:
This starts out so filthy you'll be scrubbing your ears out for weeks, before settling into a just plain PHAT moombah groove, with some lush pads coming in before the break at 3:10, absolutely love this
Incredible sinister wonky digital cumbia, love cutup accordian & build up to the drop at 2:57
Caballo over at Generation Bass posted this free album of cumbia / dancehall mashups from Mykol Orthodox which is all pretty awesome but I picked up on this tune particularly, featuring yet another incarnation of that bassline from the Computa Riddim which I posted a while ago. The bassline odessey continues!

Via Attorney St, here's an awesome cumbia-carnival-glitch-dubstep monster:
